Hi! I’m Vanessa Byrd, and I’m proud to serve as the Office Manager, where I help ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. I was born and raised in Spring, Texas, and earned my Bachelor of Science in Academic Studies and Master of Library Science from Sam Houston State University. My career began in education, where I had the privilege of shaping young minds as a 2nd-grade teacher and later fostering a love of reading as an elementary school librarian. These roles instilled in me a strong sense of organization, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others, which I now bring to the design world. What I love most about this industry is witnessing the creative process firsthand. It’s incredible to watch designers transform a client’s vision into a beautiful, tangible space. Being part of a team that helps make those dreams a reality is truly rewarding. Outside of work, I’m all about family time. Whether it’s cheering on my 9-year-old daughter at her gymnastics meets or relaxing at home with my husband and our two cats, they are my greatest joy. I also love staying active—I’m a proud two-time Ironman finisher and enjoy the challenge and determination the sport requires.
