As a new mother, I founded Tiny Haven Design to offer parents a more aesthetic option for baby gear like baby gates and play yards. I was almost ready to begin production when I found out I was expecting our second son and decided to hit pause. Not long after, we moved for what felt like the tenth time in the span of a few years; but this time, it was back home to Texas. When it was time for me to pick my career back up after spending a few years at
at home with my children, my priorities had shifted. Over the course of countless moves and the addition of two little boys to our family, I had become more aware than ever of the importance of a balanced, beautiful, comfortable home. Armed with those first-hand experiences and my diverse design background, I shifted my focus to interiors—and, specifically, curating homes where families can live their best lives together.

With a background in design and management, Taryn honed her skills in the luxury fashion industry, working with renowned brands for over seven years. However, she discovered her true calling in event planning and design, immersing herself in this dynamic industry.

As a mother, Taryn understands the importance of designing functional and aesthetically pleasing living spaces for families. Drawing from her expertise and unique vision, she began transforming personal and close friends' spaces, leading to the formal launch of her interior design services in 2021.

Now, in 2023, Taryn is excited to announce the opening of her office at Tiny Haven Designs in March. With a commitment to creating elegant, functional, and timeless spaces, Taryn collaborates with clients to bring their dreams to life. Through careful attention to detail, Taryn creates environments that reflect the uniqueness of each client while enhancing their daily lives.

MY APPROACH
Every space I design is a testament to the diversity of my background, beginning with my childhood. My mother's artistic and sensory perspective became the lens by which I view the world around me. It eventually led me to Parsons The New School for Design in New York City. After graduation, I honed my skill set in multiple positions within the fashion, event planning, client services, and design realms. These roles, married with my first-hand experience cultivating a space for my growing family, inform my style and processes to this day. For me, the process is just as important as the outcome as I work closely with clients to provide them a seamless, personal experience. My ultimate goal is to help you create your own vision for your most meaningful life at home.
